  	The West Plains Journal: "Mrs. Ida Holden Funeral Is Today Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock today for Mrs. Ida Frances Holden, wife of Ransom B. Holden who died at her home eight miles north of Peace Valey Wednesday, Dec. 27, at 12:30 p.m., from cancer of the throat. The Thornburgh Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and following the service at Chapel Hill church at which Rev. Albert Bay will officiate, burial will be in the cemetery nearby. Mrs. Holden was born in Carthage, Mo., Feb. 11, 1878, and at the time of her death was aged 61 years, 10 months and 15 days. She came to Howell county 41 years ago. Her brother, Ad Roush, of Sikeston, survives and is here for the service. In addition to her husband she is survived by nine children: Rill Holden, Mrs. Grace Triplett, Mrs. Ruth Hersheimer, Mrs. Mayme Owens, Ralph Holden, Myron Holden, and Darrell Holden, all of Mountain View; Mrs. Minnie DeBoard of Mountain View, Route 2; and Miss Emma Kenaga of West Plains."
