  	Olly appears in the 1850 Macoupin County census with her parents, age 15. Her cemetery stone names her as the wife of William Scroggins, who died on 11 January 1852. No record has yet been found of their marriage. Although her birth date, which calculates to approximately 1835 in the 1850 census, and the one on her cemetery stone of 6 August 1833 are in conflict, the conflict is not beyond the normal range of error for a birthdate from two such sources. The cemetery stone is more likely to be accurate, but both either could be in error.
