Died:
John and Lucy Bolerjack cannot be located in the 1880 census. Their son, Calvin, is found in the home of Whitfield Hill, at the age of 14 (presumably a relative of his mother, Lucy J. Hill). Som William E. (15) and daughter Sarah E. (24) are found in the home of William A. HILL, where they are listed as his niece and nephew. Son Joel Bolerjack (21) is found in the home of his uncle Henry Bolerjack, in Howell County, Missouri. Daughter Winnie and son Samuel cannot be located.
The fact that the children are spread about among relatives leads me to conclude that John and Lucy did at some point prior to 1880.

John married Lucy J. Hill on 2 Apr 1853 in White County, Illinois, USA. Lucy (daughter of Samuel Hill and Winnie Deboard) was born about 1831 in Illinois, USA; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

2. Samuel Bolerjack was born about 1858 in Illinois, USA; and died.
3. Joel Bolerjack was born in Oct 1859 in Illinois, USA; died in 1934 in Chandler, Lincoln County, Oklahoma, USA.
4. William E. Bolerjack was born about 1865 in Illinois, USA; and died.
5. Calvin Bolerjack was born about 1865; and died.
6. Winnie Bolerjack was born about 1872 in Missouri, USA; and died.

Joel married Rebecca Forrester on 28 Sep 1820 in White County, Illinois, USA. Rebecca was born about 1806 in North Carolina, USA; died after Mar 1890. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Notes:

(Research):Burrell P. Shaw indicates that her parents were Henry Gomer Forrest (b ca 1773 Culpepper Co VA) and Mary "Polly" unknown. However, John Dodgens Forrester's wife, Mary Jollett, was also known as "Polly", which would make it possible that they were Rebecca's parents. I think Burrell Shaw indicated that there are two boys older than the ones listed - William and Joel, no. one and two on list.
