Services were conducted by the Rev. H. L. Knight and the Rev. William Huffman. Burial was in Oakland cemetery. She is survived by her husband and five children, Mrs. James Hamer, of Corona, Calif., Mrs. Frank Gordon of Springfield, Walter Wood of Baxter Springs, Kan., and Mrs. Lewis Kneedler and ruby Wood of Lebanon. Martha Wilma Daniel, daughter of William and Sarah Daniel, was born Oct. 21, 1876, in Fayette county, Ill. She came to Laclede county with her parents at the age of 6 and lived here the balance of her life. She joined the Baptist church in Lebanon and later moved her membership to the Oakland church. She was married to Eli Wood on Jan. 4, 1893."
