I had info that Martha Armelia was married to a COBB - from my father. Only gradually did I realize from marriage records that she must have first been married to a GRIFFIN - and was able to locate that record, as well. These two marriages are firmly established, by putting together info from the marriage record of Martha DeBOARD to Caleb GRIFFIN, then the marriage of M.A. Griffin to James W. Cobb, then the birth record of a son to James W. Cobb and Armelia DeBoard.

A John De Board (note space in surname) is found in the 1870 Cross Co Arkansas mortaility schedule, having died in December of that year. However, I have been unable to find any Deboard (or alternate spelling) in the 1870 census, in Cross Co Ark, nor elsewhere.
Emily appears in the home of her youngest son, Wiley Jarrett DeBoard in 1880 Texas Co MO.
