    Died:
    Emeline was living at the time of the 1850 census. Thomas had returned to Tennessee and remarried by 1860--it is possible that he returned to Tennessee with his young children after Emeline's death.

    James Robertson, the "father of Tenessee" was from Wake Co NC. Could he have been the father of Elizabeth Robertson? "Of such adeventurous spirit was James Robertson, a Virginian born of Ulster Scot parentage, and a resident of (the present) Wake County, North Carolina, since his boyhood."
