Side: Union Location: Illinois Battle Unit: 49th Regiment, Illinois Infantry Function: Infantry Two Hill wills in Will Book A (1847-1859), pp. 94 (Eli) and 210 (Eldridge). Eldridge mentions brother John W., checked 1850 census and Eldridge was a reasonably young man and from Rhode Island, not PA. Neither appeared to be likely relatives of George Hill. Checked Probate book A (1849-1851), only Eli Hill.
