"Mary F." is enumerated with her family in 1870, age 1. No Mary F. appears in the 1880 census--however, "Safrona" appears in 1880, age 10. The birth year is close to that of "Mary F" and since Safrona was called "Frona" (see her death index), it is possible that "Mary F." of the 1870 census and "Safrona" of the 1880 census are the same individual. If not, then Mary F. died between 1870 and 1880.

"Mattie Poyner" (maiden name from death certificate, Ripley Co MO)
"Mattie Payner" (death certificate of her daughter Fannie May)
"Mattie Poyner" (death certificate of her daughter Minnie)
"Mattie Porner Roush" (obit, 1926, Sikeston)

Mattie's marriage register to Adam, 1882 White Co IL, indicates that her parents were "John Pynor" and "Rebecca Satterfield. The 1880 White Co census reflects a "John Poyner" and wife Rebecca, with daughter Martha C., age 16.
