1815 will of David McAdow, Dickson County, mentions his daughter "Jean McClean." Jean may have married a brother of Agnes McLean? Or be the mother of Agnes? Image no. 798-799, Tennessee, Probate Court Books, 1795-1927, DicksonWills, 1800-1899, FamilySearch. 

1850 census gives Henry's birthplace as Georgia. 1860 gives it as Tennessee. However, since the family was enumerated in Georgia when Henry was 9 months old, Georgia seems to be the most likely birthplace of the two. 

1850 census gives his birthplace as Alabama. 1860 gives it as Tennessee. 

1850 census reflects his age as 30, calculating to a birth year of 1820. However, the Sons of the American Revolution application states his birth in 1824.

1880 census states his birthplace as Illinois, while his death certificate records it as Kentucky. 

1900 census Collins Walker Bible all give 1883 as his birth year. His cemetery marker and WWI draft registration offer the same date, but the year 1882 for his birth. 

1900 census enumeration offers birth of "July 1892." Obit offers birth date of "July 19 1893" and birthplace of Floyd County. 

1900 census offers "May 1857." Cemetery listing offers "26 May 1857."

His cemetery marker gives the likely correct date of birth, 2 April 1901.
