Sarah Sinclair, living in the household, was born about 1806, Tennessee. In 1850 she was enumerated in the Everett and Nancy Sinclair household in Macoupin County, Illinois. Also present in the home was 14-year-old Elbert Best. 

Sarah V. Gray's birth record names her mother as "Nancy E. Gray" and states that the birth was illegitimate, naming no father. 

Searching has failed to discover a marriage record for Walter and his second wife in the digital Missouri marriage records found on Ancestry.com. However, the 1930 census indicates that Ruth was first married at age 19, calculating to a year of 1921, supporting the data found in the Smith book.

See as "Minnie" in the 1900 census, born June 1896. Seen as "Jennie M." in the 1910 census, age 12. The latter is clearly the same child, however, placed between next older sibling Effie and next younger sibling Wesley.

See only in the 1870 census (to date), this name is difficult to decipher. It may be Ammond, Amminuel, or Armistead. 

Seen as "Avie Bea" on death certificate. 

Seen as "Cloid" and "Cloyed" Plunkett in his marriage record, as "C. Plunkett" in the 1880 census, and as "Cload Plunkett" in the 1900 census. Probably actually Clyde or Claud Plunkett. 

Seen as "Irvin" in 1920 and as "Ervin R." in 1930. 

Seen as "James P." in the 1910 census, it becomes clear that all subsequent references to "Pat," "Patrick," and "Patrick Alonzo" refer to the same person listed as "James P." 

Seen as "John W. Wood" in the 1860 census and "John R. Wood" in the 1870 census. 

Seen as "Mae Belle" on her cemetery marker (without a maiden name). 

Seen as "Mary" in the 1910 census. 

Seen as both Hopson and Hobson 

Seen in 1850 enumeration as "Channey and in 1860 enumeration as "Chany A.," but her cemetery marker she is engraved as "Chaney A." 

Seen in the 1860 census as "C. Brown," age 6. Seen in the 1870 census as "Jane Brown," age 16. Seen in her 1871 marriage to Clyde Plunkett as "Jenny Brown." Seen in the 1880 census as "Charlotte J. Plunkett," age 26. Seen in the 1900 census as "Lota J. Plunkett."

Age remains consistent. It is clear that these are the same individual. 

Seen on his 1904 marriage record as "Wallis C. Gilmor." Probably actually "Wallace," even greater suggestion that the Pratt family could have been related to the Gilmore family, since they had a son named Wallace and were from upstate New York.

Since Elizabeth's youngest child, Irene, is found in the home of her grandparents, Richard and Levina (Hartley) Tatom in 1860, age 1, and since Elizabeth's husband's 1919 obituary names her death year as 1859, it is reasonable to assume that she probably died from complications in childbirth. 

Since he sold his land on the Humphreys/Dickson County border it seems likely that he intended the move to be permanent.

The reason for this move remains unknown. Other familiar surnames appear near Elijah's, including two Sawyer families that appear to be related to the Sawyers with whom Archalaus was closely affiliated in Macoupin County, Illinois.

Additionally, a canal was cut shortening by 25 miles the path of the Forked Deer River of Dyer County to the Mississippi. This increased connection to major river traffic caused a boom in the town of Dyersburg and in 1836 the first steamship, The Grey Eagle, began regular trips. This history was gleaned from various places on the internet and a more serious look should be taken at contemporary newspapers or historical accounts to better understand if this might have been a motivator for Elijah's move.

Since his parents were married in August 1854, and his mother died in April 1955, it is likely that he was born in 1855--his mother may have died in childbirth. 

Since Jean was only 20 in their April 1940 enumeration, and they had no children, it is likely that they had only been married a year or two. Additionally, he had been living in Liberal, Missouri, in 1935, and she in Montana. 

Since Louis Houck died in California later it is clear that he and Florence Houck probably divorced after the 1930 census in which both of them had a "married" status, though they were not residing together. 

Since no apparent daughter of Myrtle appears in the 1920 census household (all children present were the children of a Spanish mother), Myrtle's daughter (named in her obit only by a married name) was probably born within the next five years. And probably in Fayetteville, since they were enumerated there in 1920 and Myrtle's obit says she lived there most of her life. 

Smith book offers same day and month, but a year of 1910, clearly a contradiction to the original record.

Son Edward was born 14 February 1862 in Illinois. 

Son Elijah Walker Woollums' 1896 Wapello County, Iowa, marriage record names his parents as "Field Woolums" and "Matilda J. Walker." 

Son Lennie's 1951 death cert names his parents as "William Crowell" and "Sally Price." 

Son Levert's delayed birth certificate names her as "Ethel Hooper Walker McGee" 

Sons of American Revolution Application with lineage through Adeline Clark and Oliver McMinn gives her birth as December 1825. However, her own Confederate Widow's Application, signed with her mark, states her birthdate as 15 May 1824, in Hickman County, Tennessee.

Specific date from undocumented Ancestry.com tree. Supported by 1860 census, age 44, calculating to early 1816 or late 1815.

Death certificate does not give specific date of birth, but gave her age as 4 months, 8 days, which, calculated from date of death, matches the birth date given in the newspaper. 

SSDI gives last address as Barton County, but doesn't actually specifiy place of death. 

SSDI offers birth date of 18 February 1915. For place of birth, 1940 census. 

SSDI offers birthdate but only death month and year and indicates that his last place of residence was Franklin, Williamson Co TNFindAGrave offers day, month and year of death.

It is likely that he died in Williamson County. 

Still iiving at the time of her brother Shelby's death in 2012. 

Still living at the time of his mother's 1906 filing for a Confederate Widow's Pension.
