Walker is another son of Jacob Walker, and he is found in the 1850 Macoupin Co census, living in the home of a James Walker, born about 1818 in Tennessee. James Walker is married to Mary, and they have children Agnes and Jacob, strong evidence that James was the son of Jacob. Additionally, internet sources name him as the son of Jacob and Agnes. Either Jacob named two sons James, or possibly one of them was the son of another brother, who lived with Jacob's family? Walker household 1 male 10-15 1 male 20-30 [ Phillip V. Walker?] «b»1 male 40-50 [Samuel A. Walker] «/b»1 female under 5 2 females 5-10 1 female 20-30 1 female 60-70 The older woman in Samuel A. Walker's 1830 Madison Co household is 60-70, probably too old to have borne 5 children between 1810 and 1820, as in the 1820 Samuel Walker census. Samuel himself is 40-50. Also, iif Samuel A. Walker was the child of the 1820 Samuel and wife, he was not in their home in 1820, as the only males were under 10. Could Samuel A. Walker's age have been recorded wrong in the 1830 census, or the previous census? Are these two entirely different Walker families? Do either of them have a relationship with our Walker line? It would appear that these two are different names for the same woman, because the children's birth years dovetail perfectly. However, it is possible that there were two David Corsars living in the area, and that they were married to two Durham woman. There is a marriage record (OPR) for David Corsar and Margaret Durham, 1766.
