3406 His eldest granddaughter, Della Eveline Walker, states that his middle name was "Azeri" - but she makes a note that she isn't sure how it was spelled.

What a sadness it must have been for Bluford and Jane Crowder; they moved to Howell County, Missouri shortly before 1875. Within four years, three of their four children were dead. Only Phoebe Tennessee was left, which explains why she and her husband, Tom Walker, were the ones to assume the Crowder homestead.

Reasons for leaving Tennessee.

In Butler County, Missouri Moved to Howell Co? Joshua married Martha TAYLOR in Howell Co in Jan 1874, so they must have lived there for a few months, at least. Appears on Personal Property Tax Rolls for Howell Co MO in 1875, pg 15. In the 1874 Howell Co MO Personal Property Tax records, B.A. CROWDER was in possession of 3 horses, 0 mules, 7 cows, 2 hogs.

3414 His next older brother Neal road all night from OK to try to stop him from marrying what he thought of as "an Indian squaw". However, the marriage took place. Neal seemed to be prone to think he should be responsible for his siblings in this way, as he did the same thing to stop Aunt Ida from re-uniting with her first husband.

The Social Security Death Index on ancestry.com shows a William Walker, b 19 Jan 1886, died April 1960. These are the right birth and death year for our William Luther Walker. It indicates that the social security number was issued in TX in 1956, and the number was 449-64-5169. There is a good chance that this is our Lute. It does not offer a last place of residence.
Walker, William Luther "Lute" (I3407)

3415 His obituary (on FindAGrave) offered a birthplace of North Platte, Lincoln Co Nebraska. Gilmore, William Leroy "Bill" (I390)

3416 His obituary names his mother as "Rachel Best." Internet sources indicate that she was probably Rachel L. Davis. Davis, Rachel (I4388)

3417 His residence. Cairns, Roy Franklin (I337)

3418 His wife Charity is found without him in the Iron Co MO census of 1860, leading me to believe that he died between 1858 and 1860. Story, George Foster (I2658)

3419 His wife Nancy appears widowed in the 1880 census. Their youngest child is 10 in 1880, leading me to believe that he must have died between 1870 and 1880. Shaw, William P. (I1673)

3420 His wife was enumerated, still in Blue Rapids, Marshall County, in 1920, as a widow. In such a small community it is less likely that she lied. It is probable that Milton died in Marshall County. Walker, Milton (I6556)

3421 His wife was probably L. Naomi Unknown, buried next to him at Reese Cemetery. The Luster H. Bolerjack buried next to them could be a daughter. Bolerjack, Frank Lowe (I3295)

3422 His will is dated 10 June 1831 and was proven in the April 1832 term of court. It lists seven children.  Rackley, Silas (I454)

3446 Hurshel DeBord indicates that he believes John DeBoard's father to be George Debord, who married Lydia Debord 8 Nov 1803 Surry Co NC with Ben Deboard as bondsman. This George shows up in the 1820 and 1830 census for Surry Co NC and the 1840 census for Washington co VA. This is not documented in any other way.

Hurshel believes that GW DeBoard married Lydia DeBoard.

Hurshel Debord believes that he had 2 sons and 5 daughters - based on census info.
Deboard, George (I3301)

3447 Husband was remarried about 1917-1918. His FindAGrave entry lists her with a married surname after Abbott--"Carter." It is likely they were divorced. Family (F220)

3448 I am guessing that the census which makes his name look like Buffie, is actually Ruffie, for Rufus. Goodman, Rufus (I995)

3449 I am guessing that they were married in Hamilton Co IL because Hamilton is one of the few counties whose marriage records are missing from the Illinois Archives online searchable marriage database. Family (F340)

3450 I believe it is very likely that the "John De Board" reflected in the 1870 Cross Co ARK Mortality Schedule is the John DeBoard who was the father of Iva Gerome DeBoard, and the husband of Emily Summers. Supporting this belief:
1. John DeBoard was known to be living in Arkansas at the time of the 1860 census
2. DeBoard is an unusual surname
3. The John De Board enumerated in the mortality schedule was born in North Carolina

There is an age discrepancy - our John DeBoard should have been closer to 62 that 52 - the original film should be checked for a clear reading of his age. It should be remembered that this is just a transcribed index, accessed on Ancestry.com.
