3918 One presumes, since Lucy McMillen has a child, that she was married. Since she is living in the home of Cannon and Nancy Lasater, she may have been the daughter of one or both of them. [Inknown], Lucy (I3618)

3919 Online source indicates that they had a daughter named Mary Jane HOPKINS, who married David COLLINS in Howell Co MO - this would be most interesting. I do find the following in the 1900 Howell Co MO census:

#67-67, Siloaom Springs Twp COLLINS David, Aug 1849, 50, b MO Mary J., wife, Sept 1858, 41, MO Children listed in this census agree with the children listed on the online source.

David COLLINS was first married to a Nancy HOPKINS. This may be where the confusion has arisen. The subsequent Howell Co marriage is to a Mary J.A. COLLINS. Possibly the latter is Mary Jane HOPKINS, and she was first married to another COLLINS family member? However, usually the marriage records specify 'Mrs.' in that case, and also the birth year of the Mary Jane in the 1900 census, above, does not agree with other records of the birth year of Mary Jane HOPKINS ( 1848 Polk Co MO).

Other online sources indicate that MAry Jane HOPKINS married a Warham W. EASLEY in 1868 in Polk Co MO. I am more inclined to believe the latter, although it would seem likely that there is a connection between the COLLINS family of Howell Co MO and the HOPKINS family of Polk Co MO

3934 Only a portion of Mary's stone still stands at Centery Hill. My father brought home the fragments of two stones, laying crumbled and neglected near the two graves. We pieced them together physically and were able to read a great deal of both of them. This, collated with the information from the Bolerjack books resulted in the following reading, which I believe to be completely accurate: Mary C. BOLERJACK wife of Henry C. BOLERJACK born Nov 24, 1835 died May 25, 1903 "Gone to be with the Angels." Brill, Mary Caroline (I3304)

3935 Only a portion of the gravestone of John F. BOLERJACK remains erect at Center Hill Cemetery. My father brought home the crumbled portions of two stones, which we were able to piece together to a great extent. These fragments, collated with information from the Bolerjack books result in the following reading of the stone, which I believe to be correct: John F. Bolerjack son of H. J. & M.C. BOLERJACK born Feb 16 1872 died March 14, 1895 "Over in the summerland of love." Bolerjack, John F. (I463)

3936 Or "Eltna?" [Transcription in birth index, possibly in error.] Boobyer, Edna Mae (I6357)

3940 Or 1896? Conflicting years offered. Story, Charity Frances "Frankie" (I2603)

3941 Or 1901? Prudham, Anna Elizabeth (I628)

3942 Or 27 March 1906, per cemetery marker Koonce, Lula Maye (I2375)

3943 Or Allen William Bolerjack?

Named as Allen in 1900 census, age 1
Named as William in 1910 census, age 11

Newspaper account dated 7 July 1910 states that "Allen" the son of Joel Bolerjack drowned in a pond on Thursday. The paper is dated Thursday and it seems unlikely to be the same day, but the gravestone gives his birth as Oct 1898 [hard to read, but Oct is clear) and Allen's bd in the 1900 census was Oct 1898.

The newspaper also says he was age 1--a likely typo, as he would have been age 11. And a one-year-old would have stumbled into a pond, not have been swimming in it.
Bolerjack, William Allen (I1901)

3944 or Birnsen (her father's obit) Brinson, Joe (I4220)

3945 Or born 3 Jan 1886? Hunter, Joe (I6577)

3946 Or Fay Florence? Smith, Fay L. (I5158)

3947 Or Irvin? Vickers, Irwin L. "Doc" (I7921)

3948 Or Kilgrow, according to current genealogy Kilgrow, Julia (I6957)

3949 Or Lucille? Lape, Luciele Margaret (I4077)
