  Married: Mae's 1963 obituary states that she was married to "Mr. Tyson" in 1902. However, their 1911 marriage is on record in Jackson County, Missouri, and she was married as "May E. Jolley" of Jackson County in 1911; her husband named as David M. Tyson "of St. Clair County, Mich." This marriage date was probably to make her eldest daughter, Violet, appear to be the legitimate child of David Tyson.
