  Married: Pratt and Fondy both listed George's wife as "Polly Adams." If he was married to a Polly Adams, it was prior to this marriage, and must have ended in her early death. Could Polly Adams have been the object of the bastardy bond in 1824? Descendant Josephine H. Jones offers a marriage date of 9 September 1823, but no place of marriage.
