  	The Quad-City Times: "Mrs. Gillmor, Allen Grove Pioneer, Dies Nonagenarian Succumbs In Home in Aledo; Rites at Old Home Donahue, Ia., Sept. 21 -- Mrs. Mary Gillmor, aged 90 years, for half a century a resident of Allen's Grove township, died at 11 o'clock last night in Aledo, Ill., where she had made her home the past nine years. Mrs. Gillmor, who was formerly Mary Connor, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Connor, was born in Perth, Ontario, Canada, June 26, 1939, the family settling in Allen's Grove when she was a girl. She married Stewart Gillmor and for many years their home was on the Connor homestead. Her husband preceded her in death several years and six of seven children born to the union survive. They are: Margaret, Aledo; J. S., Los Angeles, Calif.; Hugh H., San Antonio, Tex.' I. Fenton, Galesburg, Ill.; Frank A., residing on the homestead in Allen's Grove; R. Ellen, Kansas City,. A son, R. Lincoln Gillmor was killed five years ago in an auto accident in Kansas City. Despite her advanced years she was active to the last illness and took a keen delight in events of the world and maintained many friendships among both the older people and the younger ones, admired and respected by all of them,. The body will be taken to this place and funeral services will be held here with burial in the family lot in Allen's Grove cemetery.
