"Miss Gillmor, Donahue, Dies
Miss Margaret Gillmore, 71, a life resident of Scott county with the exception of a few years in Aledo, Ill., died at 4:30 a. m. today at the home of her brother, F. A. E. Gillmor, two miles west of Donahue, Ia., after a short illness.
Miss Gillmore was born in Scott county Oct. 25, 1861, and was educated in rural schools. She was a member of the Aledo Methodist church.
Surviving are four brothers, John F. Gillmor of Los Angeles, H. H. Gillmor of DeSoto, Ia., F. A. E. Gillmor of Donahue and G. F. Gillmor of Galesburg, Ill., and one sister, Ellen Gillmor, of Kansas City.
The body was taken to Runge's mortuary where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel. Burial will be in Allen's Grove cemetery." |
