He was born May 12, 1931, in Tekamah, Neb. On Oct. 15, 1950, he married Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Terry Lee Wood, M.D., F.A.C.S., who died May 13, 2014; three brothers, Wayne, Ray, and Gene Wood. Marvin was a member of First United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife Virginia; one daughter, Rebecca Christal and her husband Chuck, of Lebanon; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Arrangements for Marvin Lee Wood are incomplete at this time and will be announced by Shadel?s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to First United Methodist Church. Donations can be left at or mailed to Shadel?s Colonial Chapel, P.O. Box 948, Lebanon, Mo. 65536.
