Wittaker, 75, Springfield, died at 10:30 a.m. Monday after apparently suffering a heart attack while working A native of Webb City, he lived in Kansas City before moving to Springfield in 1951. he worked for more than 40 years as a commercial heating and cooling insulator for Midwest Material Company and was a member of Asbestos Workers Local 63. Survivors include a son, William C., Springfield; two sisters, Vivian, Phoenix, Ariz., and Adena, Cincinnati, Ohio; and one grandson. Gorman-Scharpf-Abbott will announce arrangements. The family will ve in the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday."
