  RESEARCH	It is likely that Nancy Malinda (Peterson) Pratt married a second time to John G. Jameson, 15 August 1872, in Macon County. He was the father of John L. Jameson that married daughter Mary Jane two years later. [Probate record names children] A newspaper item from the Decatur newspaper notes a license issued to John G. Jamison and ?Mrs. Pratt? on 15 August 1872. ["Marriage Licenses," The Decatur Weekly Republican (Decatur, Ill.), 15 August 1872, p. 1, col. [?], for John G. Jamison and Mrs. Pratt; digital image, Ni (http://www.newspapers.com/ : accessed 27 May 2015).] Mary Jane married John G. Jamison?s son, John L. Jamison two years later. Nancy M. Pratt disappears from the Niagara County records after 1870. Wallace, Ida, and Alice (who appeared in the 1870 Niagara Co census with Nancy) all appear in the midwest soon after. John G. Jimmerson and wife Nancy appear in the 1880 census in Friends Creek township, where the Gilmores and Pratts were known to reside.
