  1870 census gives her name as Julia A., 1880 census gives her name as J. Ann. May have moved to Charlotte ARK at some point. I had e-mail from a direct descendant of this line (Jeff Geisleman, jgeisleman@msn.com ) indicating that Mitchell was born 16 June 1858 in Jonesboro ARK, and died 1949 in Charlotte ARK. Also that he and Anna had the following children: willie, della, julia, charley, austin, Mamie. This info matches that contained in the 1900 Howell Co MO census. Probably married Mitchel Winchester. Birth records show birth of Adam David E., male white, 1st child on 7 Nov 1883, Chapel Twp; father Mitchel Winchester, 21, farming, b Ark; Mother: Jalyas Roush, 18 b OH The online version of the Missouri Birth & Death records, 1883 - 1893, from the Secretary of State's searchable site, indicates her name was Joleyan ROUSH. This would sound a lot like Julia Ann. It also indicates that she was age 18 at the time of the birth of her son, Adam David E. WINCHESTER. [5, 7, 8]
