  History: Samuel Hayden was a miller in Braintree, Massachusetts. The names of eight of his children and their respecive dates of birth were recorded in the town records of Braintree (Records of the Town of Braintree 1640 to 1793, 1886, pp. 704, 712, 724, 755, 756, 760.)
