  NOTE_RESEARCH	Emma appears as a widow in the 1910 Lincoln Co OK census. John may have died in Oklahoma. In her home are two adopted children. In 1913 she married John J. Hope, who had previously been married to Ala DeBoard. Emma died later the same year at the home of her brother A. J. Koonce (per the West Plains newspaper), on 21 September 1913. She is buried at Center Hill.
