Parents Elijah Millington Walker diaries state that his mother was the daughter of Samuel King.

This conflicts with the forward which calls Samuel T. King her "maternal uncle." It is unlikely that her father, Samuel King, would have had a brother named Samuel.
RESEARCH Notes from Elijah Millington Walker diaries:
Samuel T. King "maternal uncle," a druggist (xviii)

    • Pratt and Fondy both listed George's wife as "Polly Adams." If he was married to a Polly Adams, it was prior to this marriage, and must have ended in her early death. Could Polly Adams have been the object of the bastardy bond in 1824?
    • Descendant Josephine H. Jones offers a marriage date of 9 September 1823, but no place of marriage.
