  	Santa Cruz Sentinel: "Bertha A. Walker Rites Saturday Bertha A. Walker, 86, a resident of Santa Cruz since 1930, died yesterday at her home after a long illness. Mrs. Walker is survived by a daughter, Mr. Alice Budworth; a son-in-law Edward Budworth, Sr.; two grandchildren, Lyn and Edward Bueworth Jr., all of ants Cruz; also many nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Unity temple, Order of the Eastern Star, West Plains, Mo., and Daughters of the American Revolution. Mrs. Walker was a native of West Plains and a graduate of West Plains Normal college. She taught school prior to her marriage to the late Thomas H. Walker. Mrs. Walker resided in Los Angeles from 1920 until moving to Santa Cruz. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at White's chapel with Rev. Dorothy Roberts of the Unity temple officiating. Private inurment [sic] will follow in the IOOF crematory."
