Gill's two sons, Willie and Coomma (Commodore) Carter (by a former marriage), built a new building to house the store and office. This structure, known as Carter Brother's Store, remained in use until the post office closed. Comma married Ethel Easley in 1916, and Willie married Leah Storey, September 19, 1917."
