list was forwarded to me by a Dugger cousin who knows I am researching a Bloodworth line. Sarah Hardy Bloodworth, born 1819 in Alabama or Haywood Co., TN. married John Franklin DeBorde on 12 Oct 1836 in White Co., IL. Catherine Bloodworth, born 23 Dec 1812 in Alabama or Tennessee married William Anderson Bagby on 8 April 1830 in Haywood Co., TN. Sarah and Catherine were sisters, daughters of Hardy Bloodworth, born about 1780 in Edgecombe Co., NC, and Susan Carroll, born 1789 in Georgia. Hardy's father was William Bloodworth, Sr., who died in Edgecombe Co., NC. The widow, Millicent DeLoach, and all the children migrated first to Sumner Co., TN, where they briefly leased land before moving on to Wilson Co., Tennessee. The children scattered to Mississippi, Arkansas, and West Tennessee, Hardy settling in Haywood Co., TN. This information was provided to me by descendants of William Bloodworth. I am descended from Thomas Bloodworth, believed to be William's brother. Happy hunting. Joyce 24 Sept 2002 CBStark@aol.com
