    • Entry in Ancestry's Missouri marriages reflects marriage of Bessie F. Clark to Toy Nichols [sic]. However, the digital image doesn't give their names--probably they were on the inside of the jacket that was filmed. The inside of the jacket either was not filmed or was not put on Ancestry. A number of databases reflect this marriage date, which is compatible with the birth of their first child and with Bessie's statement that she was 17 at her first marriage (1930 census).
