From the Standard:
"Campbell [-] Love
Both Mills Campbell and his bride have grown from childhood in and about Summerville.
Mills is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Campbell and is an ideal young man. He is a consistent member of the Methodist church and is the most active member of the board of stewards.
The bride is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Love and in eery way worthy of the reputation borne by her parents. She, too, is an active member of the Methodist church.
That the union of two such worthy young people may be attended with life's richest blessing is the wish and hope of all their friends." |

"Death Calls Mills Campbell After Few Days Sickness
Mills Campbell, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. James Campbell, deceased, was born at Mountain View Mo., November 27, 1892. He passed away at St. Johns Hospital, Springfield, Mo., April 23, 1938; making his age 45 years, 4 months and 26 days.
About the year 1904, he, with his parents, moved to Summerville, Mo., to make their home.
He was married to Nora Love, November 25, 1914, and to this union two children were born: Mrs. Wave Akins, of Houston, Mo., and Vern Campbell, of the home.
He was very energetic and always worked for the upbuild of the community. He was superintendent of the Methodist Sunday school for eleven years or more, and had been a faithful member of the Methodist church ever since early manhood.
He was a very devoted husband and loving father. He was so kind and patient and during his last sickness he endured his suffering without complaint.
He will be greatly missed by his loved ones.
He leaves the wife, two children, four brothers, Ed and Willis Campbell, at Mountain View, Mo.; Willie, of Denver, Colorado; John, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, many other relatives and a host of friends.
