The wedding of James Hines and Miss Ruth Campbell was not altogether unexpected. Jim is the son of Lewis Hines, one of our most prominent farmers. He is a young man of clean habits and has the necessary industry to get on well in the world.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Campbell. She is a young lady of many excellent traits of character. Her accomplishments include graduation in the high school class of last year as well as skill in music. The very bets of good wishes attend them. Summerville Leader.

"In Memory
(Delayed for lack of space.)
In loving remembrance of Ruth C. Hines, who died Sptembr [sic] 6, 1925.
A precious one from us has gone,
A voice we loved is stilled'
A place is vacant in our home
Which never can be filled.
God in His wisdom has recalled
The boon His love had given,
And though the body slumbers here,
The soul is safe in Heaven.
Sadly missed by mother, brothers, sister and little daughter,
She leaves as a memory the life of a pure and noble woman, always doing good, never tiring of the bitter trials of life.
