  It would appear that Andrew's first wife has died prior to 1830. By the ages of children in his home, they would have been married 1805 - 1815. They have a daughter 15 - 20, and 2 sons 10 - 15. Death of first wife; John N. born ca 1824; absent from 1830 census. Andrew Story recommended as one of 5 gentlemen who were "proper persons to be added to the commission of the peace in this county." Record entry for July term 1819 of the White County commissioners court. Andrew Story appointed commissioner of the Probate Court. [5, 6]
