    • "Daisy Flowers of Walnut Hill Dies At Age 74
      "Mrs. Daisy Pearl Flowers of Walnut Hill died at 12:05 a.m. today in St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia. She was 74 years, five months and 15 days old.

      She was born March 4, 1883, in Jefferson county, the daughter of Levi and Winnie Parker Walker.

      Survivors include her husband, James D. Flowers of Dix' three sons, Raymond, Charles and Earl Flowers, all of Centralia; three daughters, Mrs. Nellie Piercy, Centralia; Mrs. Winnie Mooney, Dix; and Mrs. Doris Schnute of California; one brother, Fred Walker of Dix; two sisters, Mrs. Vena Hawkins, Dix; Mrs. Iva Gossett, Centralia, 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

      She was a member of the Shipvllle Pentecost church.

      The body will lie in state at the Osborn Funeral Home in Dix, where friends may call after 1 P.m. tomorrow. Funeral services will be held there Wednesday at 2 p.m. and burial will be in Pleasant Hill cemetery."
