	Mountain View Standard: "Obituary Adam Roush was born in Pennsylvania, November 3, 1840; died June 17, 1921, at his home south of this city. When a boy he moved to Indiana, from there to Ohio, and came to Missouri in 1859 and resided the rest of his life in Howell county, except for about two years. He was married to Miss Livona Chowning in 1862. To this union were born eleven children?four boys and seven girls?of whom six are now living?R.E. Roush of near Mountain View, Mo,.; Mrs. W. M. Winchester of Moorfield, Ark.; Mrs. S. W. Gilliam of Peace Valley, Mo.; Mrs. P. T. Payne of Batesville, Ark; Mrs. J. M. Morse of Paola, Kans.; Mrs. D. J. Gale of Peace Valey, Mo. He had 57 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren."
	The newspaper in which the obit appeared was dated 15 June, but the obituary gives the death date as 17 June. Weekly paper, possibly accounts for odd dating.
