  	Obituary, Mountain View Standard "James T. Phipps Dies James T. Phipps, a pioneer resident of this community, died at his home north of Mountain View Saturday of last week at the age of 66 years, 10 months and one day. He was united in marriage to Martha Jane Walker November 15, 1892. To this union were born five daughters and three sons, four daughters preceding him in death. Surviving are Mrs. Mabel Osborne of Simmons, Mo., and Tim, Paul and Dick Phipps, all of Mountain View. Mr. Phipps was converted several years ago and lived a consecrated Christian life."

  Mysteriously, I believe they are listed in the 1930 census as William H. and Ephria PHIPPS. Living in Goldsberry Twp of Howell Co (as they should be), and respectively ages 70 and 60 (should be 69 and 60, which is close enough). William H.'s birthplace MO, father's KY, mother's TN (as it should be), and Ephria's bp TN, her parents both TN as well (as it should be).
