    Robert M. Walker, the son of William H. Walker and Ester Walker, was born on the 6th day of March, 1871 in Hickman County, Tennessee, departed this life November 8, 1954, at the age of 83 years, 7 months and two days. He was married to Nancy E. Smith on the 7th of September, 1893. To this union were born seven children, four daughters and three sons. They all survive him: Mrs. Stella Pelton of Castle Rock, Colo.; Mrs. Flossie Caton of Licking, Mo.; Mrs. Florence Houck of Mountain View, Mo.; and Mrs. Velma Jones of Chandler, Okla. The three sons are Willie Walker, Davenport, Okla.; Alvin Walker, Kenniwick Wash., and Merrill Walker of Denver Colo.

    He is also survived by two brothers, H. A. Walker of Liberal, Mo., and Theodore Walker of Denver, Colo., and by one sister, Mrs. Nora Koonce of Chandler, Okla. Also by 39 grandchildren, some 50 great grandchildren and by a host of nieces and nephews, as well as a multitude of friends.

    He gave his heart to Christ early in life and joined the Methodist church of which is was a member at death."
