Obituary of Wesley's wife, Ruth (nee Tripp) Reeves, transcription, unknown date, unknown publicationMemorial service for Ruth Reeves, who passed away in December, 2005, will be held March 13, 2006, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Arco, at 11:00 a.m.
Ruth Reeves, long time resident of the Lost River Valleys, was born Ruth Tripp in Longmont, Colorado on March 25, 1911 to Jesse Albert and Minnie Tripp, the third of seven children.
She married Paul Reeves November 23, 1929 in Simia, Colorado. To this union five children were born, Roland, Patricia, Gordon, Richard and Vergil. Her early married life was spent in various areas in Colorado. In June, 1950 they moved to Howe, and in 1956 moved in to Arco. She was a very active member in the Lost Rivers Baptist Church.
After Paul's death in 1991, she moved to Colorado Springs, CO to be closer to her son Gordon and other family members.
She is survived by Roland (Alamae) of Fort Collins, CO, Gordon (Cheri) of Colorado Springs, CO, Patricia of Minneapolis, Minn., Richard (Yvonne) of Gooding, Idaho and Vergil (Anna) of Thousand Oaks, CA., twelve grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul and three grandchildren. |
