Relatives here have been advised that Billy Ray Walker, 19, had been killed in a car wreck in Cheyenne, Wyoming on Jan. 1 and that burial would be here, but the time of the funeral has not been announced. No details of how the accident occurred were given, except that it happened at 2:45 Sunday morning.
He enlisted in the air corp [sic] from Hugo and had served three years.
He was born in Hugo on November 3, 1930. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pat Walker of Goree, Texas and grandparents, Mrs. Maudie Kizer, Amarillo, Texas and Willard Kzer [sic] of Hugo.
He is also survived by the following brothers and sisters, Ocie Oliza Walker, Hot Springs, Patsy Wanda Walker, Gussie Allen Walker, Harold Wayne Walker, Goree, Texas, Billy Oren Walker of Ripley, Okla.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. H.M. Shehan and Rev. M.N. McFarland and interment will be in the Grant cemetery with the Coffey Funeral home in charge of arrangements.

Obituary, Billy Ray WalkerSgt. Walker Rites To Be Held at Coffey Chapel on Thursday
Funeral services for Sergeant Billy Ray Walker will be held at the Coffey Chapel on Thursday, January 5, at 2 p.m., with Rev. H.M. Shehan and Rev. M.N. McFarland officiating and interment in the Grant cemetery. Coffey Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Sgt. Walker will be buried with military honors at the Grant cemetery. He was killed in a car wreck in Cheyenne, Wyoming, on January 1.
He was born in Hugo, on November 3, 1930, and is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pat Walker of Clore [sic], Texas, and grandparents Mrs. Maudie Kizer, Amarillo, Texas, and Willard Kizer, Hugo.
He is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Ocie Oliza Walker, Hot Springs; Patsy Wanda Walker, Gussie Allen Walker, Harold Wayne Walker, Goree, Texas, and Billy Oren Walker, Ripley, Oklahoma.
The News joins with his many friends in expressing condolence to the relatives of the deceased.

Additional children listed in his son's obituary, this page. I believe since his name was Billy Ray, and clearly he was born in 1930, the year of Patrick's second marriage, that the Billy Oren Walker named as a brother must have been the child of Patrick's first brief marriage. The others listed are probably the children of his second wife, Lola Mae Kizer.
