The SSDI gives the birth date of Iola J. Guhde as 13 August 1942, which fits perfectly to make her the second child of John L. Clark and second wife Virginia. FindAGrave gives the same birth date.

  	From the Mi: "Police probe Sunday assault Fremont police are continuing to investigate a Sunday morning assault at 738 W. Fourth St. that sent at least two people to the hospital. Iola J. Guhde, of Nebraska City, and Lowell D. Irvin, of 739 W. Fourth St., were taken to Memorial Hospital of Dodge County where they were treated and released. Mrs. Guhde sustained a head laceration and bruises while Irvin suffered a cut eye and bruises. According to police, at about 5 a.m. Richard Guhde, also of Nebraska City, assaulted Mrs. Guhde, who is his wife, Irving and a second woman with a board, striking the victims several times each. Police responded to the call, but Guhde had fled by the time they arrived. They have no motive for the assaults. Irvin is Guhde's brother-in-law."

Guhde, also of Nebraska City; his brother-in-law Lowell d. Irvin, of 738 W. Fourth St., and a third unidentified person with a board, The assaults allegedly occurred at 738 W. Fourth St. Judge Beckwith set a preliminary hearing i the case for Aug. 7. Guhde is free on $25,000 bond."
