  Note	Posting on Ancestry message board: "John B. Price was born 1824 in Humphreys County, TN, the son of Joshua and Mary_____Price. Joshua Price was born ca. 1780 in Martin County, NC and married Mary there ca. 1812. Joshua Price is listed in the 1820 and 1830 censuses for Humphreys County, TN. He was living in Haywood County, TN in 1850 and in Bradley County, AR in 1860 where he died. John B. Price married (1) Mary_____ca. 1853 in Bradley County, AR and (2) Amanda_____ca. 1863, also in Bradley County, AR. John B. Price died in Bradley County, AR after 1880 while his wife Amanda died there after 1900. I ma looking for marriage information concerning John B. Price and his children. His brother Sterling M. Price was born 1828 in Humphreys County, TN and he married Susan J. Adams 8/3/1854 in Dallas County, AR. Sterling M. Price moved to Panola County, TX where he is shown in the 1860 Census. He disappeared from Panola County, TX after that time and may have perished during the Civil War. Information concerning Sterling M. Price would also be welcome."  [2]

  	Ritha was "Ritha Turner" in 1823. She could have married Thomas Adams any time after that date and prior to the enumeration in 1850 Dallas County, Arkansas. If Thomas's children in the 1850 census were also Ritha's children, they were probably married prior to 1833, and they could have had an older child, as well. The family group sheet prepared by Esther Pratt has a notation that appears to indicate Retha's marriage to Thomas Adams in Humphreys County, in 1843. If this is the case, the children were Thomas's by a previous marriage. [3]
