Died |
After 1885 [5] |
Nothing is known of Josephine (Walker) Farrar after the 1885 Wyandotte County, Kansas, census.
The 1900 census of her husband Adolphus in Parke County, Indiana, indicates that he married for a second time about 1891 to "Mary."
Josephine Walker may have died between 1885-1891 or (less likely) they may have divorced. [6]

Notes |
Brewster Farrar, who appears as her apparent son in the 1885 Kansas census, born about 1881 in Illinois, died in Sangamon Co IL in 1917 and his death certificate names his mother as Josephine Capp, which caused me concern that there was confusion about the identity of the subject individual.
However, Charles Farrar's 1931 Sangamon County death certificate, states his father as Adolphus Farrar and his mother as Josephine Walker.
