While FindAGrave reflects Lovell's burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Nashville, Bowen's typescript indicates his burial at Ashland City, Tennessee. The two sources also conflict on the year, the former giving it as 1973 and the latter as 1972. Both give the month as September.

Robert Journey Walker
Robert Journey Walker, 80-year-old resident of Derby Lande, Rt. 7, died December 21, at the Williamson County Hospital. A native of Dickson County, he had made his home in Williamson County for many years He had been in declining health for some time.
Mr. Walker was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Beaulah Mai Walker of Franklin; daughters, Mrs. Jewell Lampley, Mrs. Pearl Tanner, Mrs. Jean Fox and Mrs. Doris Davis, all of Franklin and Mrs. Joynce Buggs of Murfreesboro; two sons, Robert Walker of Tuscon [sic], Arizona and Mack Walker, of East Lake, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Gertie Wilkerson of Nashville and Mrs. Emma Moss of Huron, Texas; two brothers, Seth Walker of Nashville and Lovel Walker of Ashland City; 29 grandchildren; 37 great -grandhildren.
Herbert A. Robinson officiated at the final rites on December 23 at Franklin Memorial Chapel. Interment was in Williamson Memorial Gardens.
Grandons served as pallbearers.
Franklin Memorial Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
