  	William's last known child, William, was born in 1890 in California (Bessie may have been born later, but her birth date is not known). In the 1900 census his wife Louisa (Page) was was enumerated as married; in the 1910 census she was eumerated as a widow. This could indicate that William was still living as late as 1900 and they were divorced after that date. It is equally possible that Louise did not know where William was and chose to characterize herself first as married and later as divorced.

  William is last seen in his family home in 1870. A William D. Walker married Louisa Page on 29 December 1870; this is possibly the same person. Additionally, a database on Ancestry.com indicates that William married Louisa Page, and they had one son, Charles J. Page, born 16 December 1873, died 10 December 1928, Mariposa County, California. The same file indicates that Charles was married to Stella May Hesse. [5, 6] Information entered here after William's residence in his family home is speculation. IF the Louise Page wife is correct, THEN this may be the right William Walker. Ongoing research in gathering death certs, etc, will allow better evaluation.
