	Lyndall Lee Polston April 2, 1927 - December 17, 2009 Lyndall Lee Polston, 82, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2009 in Odessa. He was born April 2, 1927 in Lockwood, Missouri to Henry Arthur Polston and Flossie Lee Lasater Polston. He was reared in Mt. Carmel, Illinois. He entered the US Army during WWII in Germany. After his discharge he returned to Illinois and worked in the oil industry as a roughneck. He moved to Odessa in the early 1950s, later becoming a driller for several Permian Basin drilling contractors. He retired in the late 1980s. He met Jean Halfacre in Mt. Carmel, Illinois; they were married Plains, Texas. He was an active member of University Park Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He enjoyed his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Bonita Louise Polston; three brothers and four sisters. Survivors include his wife, Jean Polston of Odessa; his son, Michael Polston and his wife, Teresa of Princeton, Indiana; Grandchildren, Michele Davis and husband Ronald of Oakland City, Indiana, Laci Holland and husband Johnny of Princeton, Indiana, Desirée Weigle and husband Robert of Princeton, Indiana, and Travis Polston of Wesnier, Louisiana; great-grandchildren, Michael, Jillian, Brandon, Kwila, Samanda and Lanita; sister, Blanche Grider of Abilene. Visitation with the family will be 2-4 PM Sunday, December 20, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Monday, December 21, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Wayne Maas officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. 	*Ida Blanche Polston Grider, Abilene (Texas) Reporter-News, June 16, 2011* Abilene Ida Blanche (Polston) Grider, 96, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at her residence in Abilene. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00a.m. on Friday, June 17, 2011 at Crescent Heights Baptist Church with Brother Rudy Fambrough officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Hwy 277 South. A visitation will be Thursday, June 16, 2011 from 6:30p.m. - 8:30p.m. at the funeral home. Blanche was born September 14, 1914 in Dade County, Missouri to Flossie and Henry Polston (both deceased). She was a Sunday School teacher at Crescent Heights Baptist Church. Blanche loved the Lord and touched many lives and will be sorely missed by all. Preceding her in death were her husband Ralph C. Grider; her only daughter Billie Kramer; a grandson Eddie Kramer; a granddaughter Nancy Grider; three sisters and two brothers. Survivors include two sons Donald A. Grider and wife Earlene of Sonora, TX and R. Dale Grider and wife Mary Beth of Longview, TX; grandchildren Mary Christie, Kay Green, Scott Kramer, Karen Duke, Janice Grider, Douglas Grider and Mackie Gilmore; many great-grandchildren and a few great-great grandchildren too numerous to name but always loved her to full capacity which was incredible. She leaves behind many friends and family. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 209 S.
