  	Although it is surprising to find Clarence's SSDI listing in Georgia, two things make it likely that this is the right Clarence: The SSDI lists his birthdate as 20 August 1890, and the 1900 Dade County census indicates that the subject Clarence was born August 1890 A Jesse Lasater is also found in the SSDI, a resident of Georgia at the time of his death. The Jesse Lasater found in the SSDI also has the right birth month and year. While it is not known why Jesse and Clarence both moved from Missouri to Georgia, it is likely that the Georgia listing is indeed them.
