  	Although it is surprising to find Jesse's SSDI listing in Georgia, two things make it likely that this is the right Jesse: The SSDI lists his birthdate as 26 December 1892, and the 1900 Dade County census indicates that the subject Jesse was born December 1892 A Clarence Lasater is also found in the SSDI, a resident of Georgia at the time of his death. The Clarence Lasater found in the SSDI also has the right birth month and year. While it is not known why Jesse and Clarence both moved from Missouri to Georgia, it is likely that the Georgia listing is indeed them.
