	James Boyd Campbell left home about age 13, went to work on a farm in Arkansas. He slept at his mill on the creek one night and took a "congestive chill" and did not recover. James Boyd Campbell was the first child in the county to get shoes.

The Bible was passed to his daughter Grace M. (Campbell) Walker, who passed it on to her son William D. Walker. Front title page missing, but New Testament title page intact, including the company and year of publication. A number of different hands and writing instruments were used, suggesting that the data was recorded over the course of more than 100 years.
