Obituary, Odies O. Walker, Corpus Christi TimesGraveside services for Odies O. Walker, 57, of 4002 Surside, were to be held at 11 a.m. today in the Nueces County Cemetery with the Rev. R. A. Butler officiating. Clifford Jackson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Walker died at 11:15 a.m. Monday in a local hospital after a long illness.
A native of Paris, Texas, he had lived in Nueces County 19 years. He was a carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Bench of Pasadena, Texas, and Mrs. Vivian Ann Colsby of Houston; one son, Odies A. Walker of Houston; two brothers, F. A. Walker of Antlers, Okla., and Herbert Hendricks of Universal City; and five grandchildren. |
