  	Obituary of Archie F. Hughs, The Review Repeal (Franklin, Tenn.), transcription on FindAGrave Archie Hughes of Franklin, age 65 died on Monday, July 18, at the Williamson County Hospital after an extended illness. Mr. Hughes was a native of Williamson County and the son of the late Washington and Suzie Rosie Hughes. He was a retired carpenter and a retired member to the Carpenter's union local 507. He was a member of the Garrison methodist church and was a veteran of World War II. Survivors are: wife, Mrs. Ruby Peach Hughes, Franklin; daughters, Mrs. Loretta Ann Matthis, Murfreesboro, Mrs. Kay Lynn, Nashville; sons C. W. O. Roger W. Hughes, Fort Bragg, N.C., Archie David Hughes, Nashville, seven grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Viola Dunlap, Mrs. Evelyn Pugh and Mrs. Lucy Kemper all of Nashville; brother Cecil Hughes, Las Vegas, Nev. foster mother, Buelah Walker, foster brother, Robert Walker, Franklin, other foster relatives. Funeral services were to be contucted at 10 a .m. on wednesday, July 20 at the Franklin Memorial Chapel with Reverends Gilbert Fox and Virginia Kessen officiating. Burial was to be in the Williamson County Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers are: Marion Robinson, William Poyner, Gene Givens, Curtis Walker, Jim Baird, Harold Dunlap, Lloyd Locke, Dorris Curtis.
