The marriage of Miss Ellen Bolo of Wood River to Orange Walker of the Shell Petroleum Co., took place this morning at 8 o\'clock at St. Mary\'s parsonage in Alton with the Rev. Father John Diggins, officiating. The attendants were Miss Margaret Bolo, sister of the bride, and Ray Brown.

After the wedding a breakfast was served at the home of the bride\'s parents and was attended by 20 relatives. [Description of the house and color scheme.]
Mr. and Mrs. Walker left today for Lake Taneycomo in the Ozarks where they will spend their honeymoon. On their return to Wood River the couple will take up their residence at Leslie and Enton streets where Mr. Walker has fitted up a home for his bride. When she left for Lake Taneycomo Mrs. Walker wore an ensemble of brown satin and velvet.
Mrs. Walker is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Bolo of 414 Wood River avenue, Woods River. For the past three years she has been in the office of the Shell Co.
Mr. Walker, who is a graduate of the University of Illinois, is in the laboratory at the Shell Co. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Orange Walker of Gillespie.\" |
