  	Obituary, Madisonville Meteor "Goldie Ivey, 90, of Midway died June 7 in Conroe. Funeral services will be held June 11 at J.M. Day Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. Lanier Stevens will officiate. Burial will follow at the Midway City Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday night at the chapel. She was born May 7, 1914 in Corsicana to Thomas Franklin Fox and Electra Iola Walker. She was a member of Midway Church of Christ and a homemaker. Mrs. Ivey is survived by one daughter , Karen Burns and husband Dennis of Conroe; one grandson, Cody Will Burns of Conroe; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Ivey was the last survivor of her generation, she was preceded in death by her husband, Will Ivey; her sister, Oma Dee Parker; and many other brothers and sisters. J.M. Day Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements."
